Muscat: Three female students lost their lives while seven others suffered severe to medium injuries as the bus in which they traveled lost control of the Al Batinah highway in the Wilayat of Saham.
"The bus also collided with a police officer and then crashed with a truck on the service road," the Royal Oman Police said in a statement.
The Civil Defense and Ambulance Department in the North al Batinah said later that the bus collided with a trailer in the Wilayat of Saham, which resulted in 7 injuries, between medium and high grades, and 3 deaths.
