Oman ambassador conveys HM's greetings to NZ Governor General

Wellington: Cindy Kiro, Governor General of New Zealand received here on Wednesday Dr Mohammed Said al Busaidi, who presented his credentials as the Sultanate of Oman’s extraordinary and plenipotentiary Non-resident Ambassador to New Zealand.


The ambassador conveyed greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the Governor General and His Majesty’s wishes of further progress for the people of New Zealand.


On her turn, the Governor General of New Zealand asked the ambassador to convey her sincere sentiments to His Majesty the Sultan, wishing him continuous health and happiness. She also wished the people of Oman further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Majesty.


The Governor-General of New Zealand also wished the ambassador success in carrying out his duties in promoting the bilateral relations towards broader horizons in all spheres.


The meeting underscored the keenness of Oman in developing the bilateral relations in a manner that serves the joint interests of the two countries’ peoples.


The ambassador reiterated that he will exert all his efforts to promote the relations between Oman and New Zealand.
