Samayil Industrial City – part of the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn) – has signed an agreement with Gulf Petrochemical Services and Trading to set up a steel industries workshop at a cost of around RO 3 million in the first phase.

Samayil Industrial City has been designed as a cluster-based industrial park to help attract a variety of different investments, including food processing, plastics and petrochemical, steel and metals, marble, building materials, warehousing and other support services.

Adding to its investment appeal is Samayil’s integrated live-work-play model based on the latest international standards that take into account the environmental, civil defence, social and recreational requirements of investors and employees. Moreover, the Medical Fitness Examination project in the Industrial City will be opened next June in cooperation with the Ministry of Health.
