Salalah - The Salalah Free Zone, one of the free zones of the Asyad Group, has signed two lease agreements for Mazaya Logistics warehouses to establish an industrial complex, with an estimated value of RO1.3 million.

The first agreement is for the complex to facilitate trading plastic products and while the second one is for the installation and assembly of communications equipment on an area of 13,500 square meters.

The signing of the two agreements comes within the strategy of the Asyad Group to attract many projects and industries in the free zones.

With the signing of these agreements, the percentage of the leased warehouse space in the Salalah Free Zone is 83%.

Dr. Ali bin Muhammad Tabuk, CEO of Salalah Free Zone, said, "Despite the challenges, the world has faced and is facing due to the pandemic, and the decrease in foreign direct investment flows in the manufacturing sector and other activities, the free zone was recently able to sign two usufruct agreements that confirm its competitiveness."
