Japanese Exhibition on Crafts, Art of Noh Theatre kicks off

Muscat: The exhibition of traditional Japanese crafts and arts of the Japanese Noh Theater kicked off at the Cultural Club on Tuesday.


During the exhibition, a documentary was played to introduce the details of the Japanese Traditional Noh Theater, which is a classical performance art formed in a dramatic vision.


Those performances deal with the nature of life and death and funeral rituals.


They also display the crafts, industries and arts associated with this theater, such as fabrics, tea and the making of the Japanese paper fan “Washi”.


Activities of the exhibition continue till tomorrow (Wednesday).
