Colombo: Mahinda Rajapaksa, Prime Minister of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka on Tuesday met with the Omani business delegation, headed by Eng Ridha Juma al Saleh, Chairman of Board of Directors of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI).


The meeting discussed the bilateral relations binding the Sultanate of Oman and Sri Lanka and the means of enhancing the volume of trade exchange between the two countries. The meeting also reviewed the available investment opportunities in the two countries.


The meeting was attended by Shaikh Juma Hamdan Al Malik al Shehhi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Sri Lanka, Ajith Nivard Cabraal, Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka and Omar Lebbe, Ameer Ajwad, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Sultanate of Oman.
