Tehran: A forum was held here on Sunday between Omani and Iranian entrepreneurs to discuss ways of enhancing economic relations and trade exchange between the two countries.


Eng Hamoud Salim al Saadi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OCCI’s branch in the Governorate of South Al Batinah, gave a presentation on the promising sectors in the governorate, investments opportunities in the Sultanate of Oman, the foreign investments law, as well as economic and business incentives for investors.


The forum also explored investment opportunities in the Iranian markets.


Mohsen Zarrabi, Chairman of Iran-Oman Joint Chamber of Commerce confirmed that the Omani delegation's visit embodies the rooted relations between the Sultanate of Oman and Iran.


He added that the visit aims to exchange views on boosting trade between the two countries.


Tomorrow (Monday), B2B meetings will be held between businessmen and heads of factories and economic establishments from the two sides.


The meetings aim to identify Iranian industries and establish partnerships.
