Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Thursday chaired the Council of Ministers meeting at the Al-Baraka Palace.
On the Ukraine crisis, His Majesty the Sultan while presiding over the cabinet meeting, said that the Sultanate of Oman is following up with great concern and regret the outcome of the Ukrainian crisis, stressing the need to return to diplomacy and resort to dialogue and peaceful negotiations between the parties to the crisis on the basis of the United Nations Charter.
His Majesty the Sultan affirmed the Sultanate of Oman's continued keenness on positive cooperation with all brotherly and friendly countries in various beneficial fields in a manner that promotes mutual interests.
