Muscat: The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning launched a trial version of AMLAK platform for four months, on Wednesday.
The new platform provides integrated digital services in a phased manner to assess the efficiency of the e-system.
AMLAK platform is a comprehensive software system accessible around the clock and on official holidays. It contains services related to: lands, real estate registry, urban planning, geographic information systems, social housing schemes and projects. It targets Omani citizens, residents, citizens of the GCC countries, investors, private companies, government agencies and real estate brokerage offices.
The first phase includes 7 services related to the real estate registry including requesting access to real estate data such as issuing a replacement for lost and damaged ownership certificate, correcting the name, and requesting a real estate data certificate. This is in addition to mortgage release and registration of property ownership. — ONA
