MUSCAT: Dr Kavitha Ramakrishna, a yoga teacher, has been sharing her knowledge free of charge for those interested in learning the practice that involves the combination of asanas (postures and poses), pranayama (regulated breathing), and samyana (meditation and relaxation).


Dr Kavitha enjoys teaching, practicing and being involved in the yoga community as it is her passion.


“My connection to yoga is a powerful and personal one, which I want to share with others,” she says.


During Covid-19 pandemic, Dr Kavitha has helped many people in the Sultanate of Oman through online and personalised interactions by recommending a series of yoga and breathing exercises depending on the severity of symptoms.
