Muscat: The Board of Directors of Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education (OAAAQA), held a meeting under the chairmanship of Dr Rahma bint Ibrahim al Mahrouqiyah, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, and head of the board of directors, on Sunday.
The meeting discussed several topics including the second stage of auditing the general foundation programmes, the Authority’s policy on the activities of international quality assurance, the draft evaluation indicators against institutional standards, the National Academic Qualifications Framework document in both Arabic and English, the external auditors to be added to the national register of external auditors, and the proposed amendments to existing policies of the Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education.
