DUBAI: A number of Omani female experts, researchers and students took part in the celebrations of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, which falls on February 11 each year, at Dubai 2020 Expo.
The group toured several pavilions of other countries participating in Dubai 2020 Expo that showcase various fields of science, innovation and creative ideas. The group comprised students from Omani universities and colleges, excelling female employees from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, as part of a programme that aims to enrich the experiences of young women and inspire them towards building the future of the nation with culture and knowledge.
The programme is organised in coordination with the Commissioner-General of the Sultanate of Oman at Expo 2020 Dubai. — ONA
