Muscat: Based on the decision of the Supreme Committee tasked with tackling developments resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Education (MoE) has decided the following:
Applying the blended education system (week by week) for grade 1-4, with the exception of low-density schools of less than 20 students per one department which will be 100 per cent operated on the direct education system amid precautionary measures.
Applying the direct education system for grade 5-11 with the exception of classes exceeding 30 students in a single department which will work on the blended education system (week by week) amid Covid-19 precautions.
Applying the direct education system for grade 12 amid Covid-19 precautions.
Early education and private schools will be operated in accordance with the manual of private and international schools in the Sultanate of Oman regarding the adoption of the rules and principles of the general framework for operating schools.
These guidelines are subject to evaluation in line with the epidemiological situation updates.
