Omani theatre group to play in Syria

Muscat: A Omani troupe Alden for Culture and Art will present a performance (For a living) at Al-Hamra Theatre in the Syrian capital, Damascus, from February 24 until March 3.


The Al-Hamra Theatre in Damascus is affiliated to the Ministry of Culture of Syria.


The troupe’s visit will be the first to the Syrian Arab Republic in recent times.


The play is prepared and directed by Mohammed bin Saeed al Rawahi on the text Balalit by the Bahraini writer Jamal al Saqer talks about a group of issues that concern the person in his daily life.
