Muscat: Suhar Airport received the first flight of Iranian Taban Airlines on Friday with the traditional water salute.
The airline will operate weekly one flight between Suhar and Shiraz Airport, according to Oman Airports.
With the conventional water spray salute, Suhar Airport received Friday evening 4th February 2022 the first flight of the Iranian airline Tapan in a direct route between Suhar
Apart from Taban, 5 international airlines, namely, Fly Dubai, Air Arabia, Qasham Air, and Salam Air, operate from Suhar.
Oman Airports said the start of this direct flight will serve the passengers of the two friendly countries, will boost commercial and tourism traffic in North and South al Batinah Governorate.
The company said it has taken all safety measures across its facilities in Suhar Airport to offer a safe travel experience to the passengers.
