Muscat: The Executive Board of the Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB) on Thursday held its 1st meeting for 2022 under the chairmanship of Hilal Ali al Sabti, CEO of OMSB.
Al Sabti underscored the importance pressing ahead with physicians’ activities during the pandemic to avoid any issues with the training plans. He also approved the minutes of the 4th meeting for 2021.
The meeting discussed forming a work team to outline regulations for specialized training programmes and OMSB approved training institutes.
Moreover, the meeting reviewed prominent achievements of the OMSB in 2021. It also covered the challenges facing the board’s work, as well as possible solutions to ensure the fulfilment of the OMSB objectives that contribute to achieving the goals of Oman Vision 2040, among other topics. --ONA
