MUSCAT: Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis Al Ra'eesi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF), received in his office at Al Murtafa'a Garrison on Sunday Commodore Joao Pereira, Commander of the EU NAVFOR Somalia - Operation ATALANTA Force.
The two sides exchanged views and discussed military matters of common interest.
The meeting was attended by Brigadier Abdulaziz Abdullah Al Manthri, Assistant to the Chief of Staff for Operations and Planning.
Rear Admiral Saif Nasser al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO), also received in his office at Al Murtafa'a Garrison Commodore Joao Pereira.
They held cordial talks and discussed matters of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by Jassim Mohammed Al Balushi, Director of Operations and Plans at the RNO Command.
