Royal Decree ratifies taxation agreement between Oman, Qatar

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued a Royal Decree No. 4/2022 on the ratification of an agreement between the governments of the Sultanate of Oman and the State of Qatar on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of income and capital tax evasion, signed in Doha on 22 November 2021, after presenting the same before the Shura Council. Article (1): ratifies the above-mentioned agreement in accordance with the version attached to this decree. Article (2) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and takes effect from its date of issue.
