MUSCAT: The Coast Guard Police, in cooperation with the Directorate-General of Combating Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances in South Al Batinah Governorate, arrested four Asian nationals who were on a smuggling boat.
The anti-drug police seized 7,010 tablets of psychotropic substances and 34 large packs of crystal meth, during the crackdown.
The Coast Guard Police in Dhofar Governorate foiled an attempt to smuggle 30,000 sacks of smokeless tobacco loaded on a smuggling boat carrying three people of an Arab nationality.
