22 investment opportunities in industrial sector unveiled

Muscat: The Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion launched the second package of 22 investment opportunities in the industrial sector.


This is part of the 100 industrial opportunities that the ministry plans to launch in this sector.


Dr. Saleh bin Saeed al Masan, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Investment Promotion, said that the second package is an integrated one that includes certain incentives as the ministry is committed to making approvals and permits automatic and fast.


The ministry said 15 of the 22 opportunities worth RO44 million will be provided by the Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), five by Nama Holding Company (RO70 million), and two by Mazoon Company (RO600.000).
