MUSCAT: A force from the Royal Oman Police (ROP) left here on Wednesday to take part in the joint exercise Arabian Gulf Security 3 due to be conducted at end of January in Saudi Arabia in the presence of Brigadier Mohammed bin Nasser al Kindi, Director-General of Operations at ROP. The exercise is aimed at boosting security cooperation and exchanging expertise between the security apparatuses of the GCC countries as well as joint planning to confront potential threats.
