Muscat: A session of political consultations was held on Wednesday between the Foreign Ministries of the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Lithuania.
The Omani side was headed by Shaikh Khalifa Ali al Harthy, the Ministry’s Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs. The Lithuanian was headed by Dr Mantas Adomenas Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The session discussed bilateral relations between the two countries. The two sides underlined their keenness to continue promoting joint cooperation in economic fields. They also stressed their willingness to exchange investments.
The session further touched on several regional and international matters of common interest.
It was attended by several officials from the Foreign Ministries of the two countries. --ONA
