The Sultanate of Oman handled Covid-19 efficiently since the outbreak of the pandemic. The able leadership in the country took all possible measures to contain its spread and protect its population through all possible measures.


The slew of initiatives that the Supreme Committee on Covid-19 took has merited global recognition and international health agencies appreciated the steps taken by the country to protect its people from the pandemic.


In its first decision the country’s leadership decided to set up a Supreme Committee to tackle the situation emerging out of the Covid-19 pandemic.


The country efficiently handled the situation through appropriate measures. It covered most of its target population with vaccination and booster doses.
