Council of Ministers approves declaration of cultural and sports clubs

Muscat: Within the context of the Royal attention accorded by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to sports and culture clubs—given their role in honing the skills and talents of youth and serving as podiums for cultural, sports and youth activities—and, in keeping with Oman Vision 2040, HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, has unveiled the Council of Ministers’ approval to announce sports and culture clubs in some wilayats, as listed below:

1/ The Wilayat of Al Amerat in Muscat Governorate

2/ The Wilayat of Nakhal in South Al Batinah Governorate

3/ The Wilayat of Taqa in Dhofar Governorate

4/ The Wilayat of Izki in Al Dhakhiliyah

5/ The Wilayat of Dima Wa Al Taeen in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate

6/ The Wilayat of Dhank in Al Dhahirah Governorate

HH Sayyid Theyazin wished that the clubs will cater to the needs of different segments of society, notably by hosting social events and activities to meet the objectives that gave rise to their establishment. --ONA
