MOE halts study in four schools in Muscat

Muscat: Due to the climatic conditions in the Sultanate of Oman, the Ministry of Education (MOE) has issued a decision to suspend study in some schools in the Governorate of Muscat.


The decision also postpones examinations scheduled to be held tomorrow, Wednesday, and states that the exams will be resumed the day after tomorrow, Thursday.


The schools that will be closed on Wednesday as follows:


1. Thuraiya Bint Mohd Al Busaidiya Basic Education School For Gilrs (grades from 5-9)


2. Faidh Al Marifa Basic Education School For Girls (grades from 5-10)


3. Al Tawfeeq Basic Education (grades from 1-4)


4. Al Oula Basic Education School (grades from 1-4) will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday.
