University of Buraimi has conducted a math quiz competition among high school students from Al Buraimi governorate about basic mathematics. In all, 12 teams from different schools participated.
Gifts for all the winners were distributed, besides certificates of participation to each group/team.
The main objective of this event was to build in students self-confidence and to make them understand the importance of mathematics in their present and higer studies. The participants also explored the university campus and got a chance to interact with the university students.
