Muscat: The Ministry of Labor has issued a circular regarding dealing with employees of the administrative apparatus units of the state and other public legal persons, and workers in the private sector who do not have the (Covid 19) vaccine.

The circular obliges every employee to provide his employer with a certificate of vaccination for the (Covid 19) vaccine, proving that he obtained two doses of one of the vaccines approved in the Sultanate of Oman, or provide it with a medical report from the health institution proving the existence of health conditions that prevent him from receiving vaccinations.

Those who are not allowed to enter workplaces for not submitting a vaccination certificate or a medical report exempting them from taking the vaccines will be subject to provisions applicable to employees who are not entitled to take leave.
