Muscat: As part of the efforts to link the airports of the Sultanate of Oman with various international destinations, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued approval for Turkish Airlines to operate flights from Muscat.
The airline will operate two flights per week from Antalya in Turkey to Muscat, starting June 3, 2022.
It currently operates flights to Istanbul from Muscat.
Antalya is a Turkish resort city with a yacht-filled Old Harbor and beaches flanked by large hotels. It's a gateway to Turkey's southern Mediterranean region, known as the Turquoise Coast for its blue waters. Remnants remain from Antalya's time as a major Roman port.
