Muscat, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Manama and Doha are among the top 10 relocation destinations worldwide for best weather, according to money.co.uk, a UK-based price comparison website in its new report.
The study analysed the average temperatures and precipitation rates for each city to give a normalised score out of 10, with higher temperatures and lower levels of rainfall being ranked with the highest revealing the top relocation destinations with the best weather.
Capital Muscat was ranked at fifth spot and is a top relocation destination home to the best weather, as per the report.
Muscat has an average temperature of 27.30 degree Celsius with an annual precipitation of 100.00 mm and scored 9.8 on 10 for weather
Dubai topped with first place and is the best relocation destination if one is looking for sunnier climes, as it scored a perfect 10. The average temperature in Dubai is 28.2 degrees Celsius, with only 68mm of rainfall a year.
The capital of the UAE scores slightly lower than its neighbour with Abu Dhabi achieving 9.9 on 10. Temperatures are slightly lower at 27.9 degrees, but there is less rain on average with only 42mm falling.
Manama is the third best city in terms of weather having the same average temperature as Abu Dhabi, but sees a much higher rainfall at 85mm.
The other cities in ranking are Las Vegas (US), Bangkok, Tel Aviv, Las Palmas and Alicante (Spain) from sixth to tenth spots in the survey.
Further study insights place Basel, Switzerland, as the most expensive city to relocate to as the annual cost of living is €63,754.
Istanbul was the most affordable relocation destination where average annual living costs are only £12,753. This is £40,995 less per year than moving to Basel, and £15,963 less than the studied average.
Doha is the top relocation destination located on the coastline, this city scored 7.53/10. Water temperatures in Doha are 24.83 degrees on average; it also has high wages of €48,341.
Recently, money.co.uk had named the Sultanate of Oman as the 8th best city to relocate to in the world, according to new research.
The study analysed factors that are often taken into consideration when deciding where to relocate to, including house prices, living costs, average salary, weather conditions, number of restaurants and green spaces, internet speed and life expectancy, to reveal the best places to relocate to around the globe.
