

MUSCAT: The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources has announced a ban on the import of live birds and their products, derivatives and waste from several countries listed below.
A ministerial decision was issued on this regard, to be effective from today, December 13, 2021.
This decision was based on the recommendation of the veterinary authority concerned and the report of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE).
The countries are the Republic of Togo, Lubuski in the Republic of Poland, the island of Zealand in Denmark, Flevoland in Netherlands, the Veneto region in Italy, Bache-Qiskun-Kongrad-Veques-Hadjo Bihar in the Republic of Hungary, Chungcheong-do in Korea, Akita Prefecture in Japan, Rogland in Norway, Biulavisky District in Northern Kazakhstan, Mungan in the Republic of Ireland, Kirov-Bashkortostan in Russia, Trnvinsky District in Slovak Republic, Nordrhein-Westfalen in Germany, Hotsdo District in France, Sisako-Moslavaka in Croatia and Semnan - Ardabil - Mazandaran in Iran. — ONA
