MOH to launch mobile app for sharing health data

Musca: The Ministry of Health (MOH) will launch the 'Shifa' mobile application that will provide complete details of the patient’s health data affiliated with its institutions. The application will go live on Sunday evening.


"The application is a qualitative leap in the field of digital transformation for the Sultanate of Oman, and it is a special platform as it will help individuals and the doctors to save and exchange medical," the official statement said.


The Shifa app will provide demographic data, vital signs, health history, as well as lab tests, medications, in addition to information on immunizations, rescheduling and canceling appointments, and notifying the user of important information.
