Celebrating the glorious month of November, and rewarding the loyalty of its customers, ahli islamic announced the winners of its special draws on the occasion of the Sultanate of Oman's 51st National Day, along with the scheme’s monthly prize draw. The draws are a part of the bank’s popular Qitaf prize scheme, which seeks to establish a culture of saving among customers and helps them achieve their goals.

The event was streamed live on the Bank's social media platforms. The value of the prizes reached RO 102,000, with RO 2,000 each awarded to a total of 51 winners as part of the celebratory occasion. Along with one lucky winner rewarded with RO 20,000 as part of the monthly draw scheme for the month of November.

Making the announcement of the winners of Qitaf draws, Yousuf bin Salim al Rawahi, Deputy General Manager and Head of ahli islamic, said, “Ever since its launch, Qitaf prize scheme has changed lives of several of our customers. It has helped change their lifestyles by inculcating wise saving methods in their lives. We are confident that continuing to reward our customers inspires them to secure a better future by adopting savings as a life approach. Aligning to the spirit of the 51st National Day, we were keen to hold a special draw during which prize money will be presented to a wider base of winners.”

“Qitaf aims not only to establish a culture of savings, but also to provide customers with opportunities to invest in profitable assets, in accordance with the bank's standards, which are based on sharia’h-compliant Mudharaba principles. This year, we are seeking to reward more than 4,200 customers from all branches of the Bank with prizes totaling more than RO 1,250,000,” Al Rawahi added.

Qitaf account holders are qualified for draws once a minimum average balance of RO 100 is retained in the balance, while those who hold a minimum average balance of RO 1,000 are qualified for the quarterly draws where the Bank will offer one winner a grand prize of RO 100,000. The Bank calls on its customers to increase their savings and follow up on the draws announcement on its various social media platforms.

Qitaf reflects ahli islamic's vision of providing an innovative banking experience to customers. Since its launch, the scheme has been widely recognized, which is reflected in the increase of the volume of deposits in the sharia’h-compliant account. These are positive indicators that reinstate the progress of ahli Islamic, and its strategic roadmap to enable achieving the aspirations of its customers and changing their lives for the better.
