MUSCAT: Mwasalat, a member of Asyad Group, has announced that Mwasalat Training Institute reached new levels of excellence and recognition by obtaining the prestigious City and Guilds international accreditation, adding it to the IVV and Diamond accreditation.

This proficient training institution has quickly become a leading regional training centre offering various training courses on public transportation processes and operations.

Badar bin Mohammed al Nadabi, acting CEO of Mwasalat, hailed this major milestone as an “invaluable international recognition of the exceptional quality of Mwasalat Training Institute’s programmes offered in various vocational pathways in the public transportation sector.

Our institute aims to supply both local and regional markets with the human resources and competencies needed to cover the full scope of public transport operations and comply with health and traffic safety requirements while creating the proper environment that ensures customer and driver safety and protects corporate assets.

This achievement was made possible by the outstanding efforts of our young professionals who proved themselves once again, as they worked tirelessly to meet all the relevant conditions and submitted a comprehensive application that allowed the institute to pass international accreditation requirements with flying colours, added Al Nadabi.

Mwasalat’s Acting CEO explained that the training institute has been delivering numerous specialised training programmes since its establishment in 2019, bringing in experienced trainers of the highest calibre to build the competencies of Mwasalat employees and introduce international best practices in transport and safety.

The institute’s training programmes not only cover operational capacity building, but extend to contingency planning and technical support.
