Muscat: Dr Shaikh Kahlan bin Nabhan al Kharousi, Assistant Grand Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman, received on Wednesday a delegation of experts from the World Health Organization (WHO) who are specialized in organ transplantation.
The two sides explored medical issues related to organ transplantation and donation, as well as the level of global need for them.
They also discussed the role of Sharia rulings and fatwas in addressing such issues and the importance of the active role that the Iftaa Office can provide at the local and international levels in relation to diverse Sharia issues. --ONA
