Muscat: The Royal Navy of Oman’s vessel (RNOV) Shabab Oman II is carrying on with its mission in extending bridges of friendship between the Sultanate of Oman and Arab and friendly nations.

Shabab Oman II docked in various ports around the world to connect with cultures and to highlight Oman’s civilization and its people worldwide.

Through the vessel’s 5th international voyage themed “Oman, A Renewed Approach" she visited the GCC member states, capping up its voyage by taking part in activities of Oman Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.

The vessel embodies one of the prosperous images of Oman’s Renewed Renaissance.

Moreover, the vessel welcomes visitors till November 30, 2021 by treating them with a presentation on the vessel’s lifespan, from being built to its current 5th international voyage. There is also a daily exhibition onboard the vessel, which showcases glimpses of Oman’s past and present. The exhibition is held daily from 10 am to 1 pm and from 4 pm to 6 pm.

The Royal Cavalry showcases a collection of horse-related items, in addition to an album of images of previous shows performed by the Royal Cavalry.

The Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) also participate in the exhibition by showcasing historic military collectables and books on Oman’s military history. --ONA
