MUSCAT: The Secretariat General of National Celebrations (SGNC) said that preparations for celebrating the 51st Glorious National Day have been completed as per precautionary measures against Covid-19.
Shaikh Sebaa bin Hamdan al Saadi, Secretary General of the SGNC told Oman News Agency (ONA) that in addition to the military parade to be held under the royal patronage of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, reception ceremonies will be held in wilayats of the Sultanate of Oman. Fireworks shows will be also held in the Governorate of Muscat today (Thursday), and in the Governorate of Dhofar tomorrow (Friday) at 8 pm.
He added that within the framework of celebrating the 51st Glorious National Day, developmental projects in sectors of oil, gas and electricity will be opened. — ONA
