Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued a Royal pardon to a number of prisoners convicted of various cases.
They included 252 prisoners, including 84 foreign prisoners.
The Royal pardon of His Majesty the Supreme Commander coincides with the occasion of the 51st National Day of the Renaissance and in consideration of families of the prisoners.
