Muscat: Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB) and the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MoHERI) on Tuesday signed a programme of cooperation to provide Oman Research Repository with content ranging from published research papers in the Oman Medical Journal (OMJ), diverse books and reports, as well as audio-video materials.

The agreement was signed by Dr Hilal Ali al Sabti, CEO of OMSB and Dr Saif Abdullah al Haddabi, the ministry’s Undersecretary for Research and Innovation.

Oman Research Repository codenamed “Shuaa” is a national project based on cooperation and the common interest of institutions.

The repository aims to be a leading contributor to scientific research and education locally and internationally by making Omani scientific resources available for researchers all over the world. --ONA
