2 held for hunting Arabian gazelle

Muscat: Wildlife rangers from the Environment Authority in Dhofar Governorate, arrested two people for hunting Arabian gazelle.


The arrests were made by the Al Najd unit at the Directorate-General of Environment in Dhofar Governorate in coordination with the Royal Oman Police (ROP).


The authorities also seized the tools used by the violators and the legal procedure against them is underway.


The Environment Authority urges all citizens, residents, and tourists to refrain from violating the environmental laws in order to avoid legal action.
