Omani-British military exercise "Musandam Fort 2021" concludes

Musandam: The 4-day Oman-Britain joint military exercise (Musandam Fort 2021) was concluded on Thursday.


The exercise was run between Musandam Security Force of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO) and units of the Royal Scottish Guards in the United Kingdom (UK), with backing from the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) and the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO).


The Omani-Britain joint military exercise, held in the military exercises area in Musandam Governorate, included a number of joint military exercises.


It concluded with a practical demonstration under the auspices of Maj Gen Matar Salim al Balushi, RAO Commander.


The finale was attended by Air Commodore Nasser Said al Saadi, Assistant Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF) for Training and Joint Exercises, a number of senior officers, RAO officers and the Defence Attaché at the UK Embassy in Muscat. --ONA
