Muscat: The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has granted @TmDone a license to provide postal services.

With this approval, the number of licensed postal companies goes up to 22 in the country, which is expected to boost the efficiency of the fast growing eCommerce sector.

Currently, customers can order from stores and restaurants via @TmDone.

As per Royal Decree 71/2012, TRA is responsible for regulating the postal services and related services in the Sultanate as well as supervising the postal services providers to ensure that the licensed services are provided with appropriate quality and according to the approved tariff.

The TRA also receives complaints from the beneficiaries and issues decisions on these complaints and disputes.
