

The Royal Navy of Oman’s vessel Shabab Oman II will on Sunday leave the Sultanate of Oman heading to GCC countries marking her fifth international voyage themed ‘Oman A renewed Approach’.
His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, preside over the farewell ceremony for the RNOV.
The ship seeks to deliver a message of brotherhood, friendship ties, and peace to the world, and prominently introduce the Omani civilization to different world communities.
The vessel will first dock in Al Suwaikh Port in the State of Kuwait and then visit the rest of the GCC countries with the participation of 30 university students representing a number of world countries.
As part of representing the Sultanate of Oman in Dubai Expo 2020, the Shabab Oman II will dock in the Marina Dubai Port from November 21 to December.
A number of military units will take part in the farewell ceremony including the Royal Guard of Oman (RGO), the Royal Cavalry of Oman (RCO), and other government and private entities.
