Muscat: An official session of talks between the Sultanate of Oman and the State of Palestine was held at the Foreign Ministry here on Monday.
The session was chaired on the Omani side by Shaikh Khalifa Ali al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs whilst the Palestine side was led by Dr Amal Jadou, Undersecretary of the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the talks, the two sides discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation.
Oman’s stance backing the Palestinian cause was also reiterated.
The two sides also exchanged views on the peace process and on issues of common interest.
The talks was attended by Tayseer Ali Farhat, Palestine's Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, Salim Habib al Amri, Charge d'affaires of the Sultanate's Embassy to Palestine and officials of both countries. --ONA
