Domestic worker arrested for theft, setting house on fire

Al-Dakhiliyah Police Command on Monday has arrested a domestic worker of African nationality on charges of theft and setting fire a house on fire where she was employed, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) said in a statement.


Prior to setting the house on fire, she stole gold jewelry, mobile phones, and money. She was arrested before trying to leave the country. Legal measures are being taken against her.
