RNO commander inspects naval exercise

AL MUSANNAH: Rear Admiral Saif bin Nasser al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO), on Sunday inspected the Omani-British joint naval exercise Al Qirsh Al Abyadh (white shark) currently being conducted by the RNO with the participation of vessels from the UK Royal Navy and continues till November 2 at the naval zone in Al Batinah.


The commander of the Royal Navy of Oman was briefed about the activities of the naval exercise and the various military methods utilized in the exercise as well as the tasks and duties assigned to the exercise.


The naval exercise is part of the annual training plans followed by RNO along with friendly and sisterly countries to sustain the readiness of its fleet and personnel in line with the national duties assigned to RNO.
