Ban on heavy trucks on Suhar-Yanqul road

Muscat: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police (ROP), has issued a decision banning movement of trucks weighing more than 7 tonnes on Suhar-Yanqul road, with effect from the beginning of November.


The decision is aimed at organizing and managing the movement of trucks on the main roads in the Sultanate of Oman. It also aims to reduce road accidents and ease vehicular movement.
