Muscat: Dr Ali Masoud al Sunaidi, Chairman of the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ) received in his office on Wednesday Nikolaos Georgios Dendias, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Greece.


The two sides explored fields of the joint cooperation between them. Al Sunaidi explained to the Greek side the available potentials at investment environment in the Special Economic Zone in Duqm (SEZAD) and the free zones in Sohar, Salalah and Al Mazyounah, as well as the incentives offered to investors.


OPAZ Chairman also highlighted the government's efforts to localize clean hydrogen projects at SEZAD. He also affirmed the available opportunities to export ammonia and green hydrogen to the global markets. --ONA
