MUSCAT: Supporting the nation in the wake of cyclone Shaheen, National Bank of Oman (NBO) has implemented a wide-reaching relief programme to allow affected account holders to defer loan payments for 3 months until December 31. It has also allocated an additional RO 10 Million in interest free loans. The bank will also be offering a hassle-free renovation loan for existing home loan customers of up to RO 5,000.

As part of a nationwide call to action, NBO has also partnered with leading retailers to offer its customers a discount of up to 50 per cent on essential household appliances such as stoves, refrigerators, and washing machines, to help replace items lost to water damage.

A core part of NBO’s culture is to lend support and make meaningful contributions to those who need it the most.

The bank rallied up staff volunteers to help with clean-up efforts in their local community along with a donation drive, encouraging them to contribute too. As for impacted employees the bank provided them with the support required.

NBO’s growing range of digital and contactless services are ready to support customer’s day-to-day banking needs, wherever they are 24/7.
