Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, has issued a Royal pardon to a number of prisoners convicted of different cases.
They included 328 prisoners, 107 of them are foreign prisoners, according to an official source at the Royal Oman Police (ROP).
The Royal pardon of His Majesty the Sultan coincides with Prophet Mohammed’s (PBUH) birthday anniversary 1443 AH and in consideration of families of the prisoners.
