Occupancy rate of hotels up 23.6% in August

Muscat: The total revenues of three to five stars hotels in the Sultanate until the end of August 2021 was RO51, 536,000, a decrease of 17.4 percent over the same period in 2020.


While the occupancy rate increased by 23.6 percent, according to statistics issued by the National Center for Statistics and Information.


The statistics showed that the total number of guests in these hotels increased by 41 percent to reach about 731,570 guests, of which156.2 percent (544,315 ) were Omanis.
